Overview
This course will benefit anyone that wishes to become a better communicator. It can be taken as a stand-alone session or as a foundation for our more advanced communication courses.
Do you sometimes struggle to get your message across? What would you do if you were a great communicator: how would your personal and professional life change for the better? Evidence shows that inter-personal skills, like being an effective communicator, are the greatest predictor of success amongst professionals of a similar background and IQ. Yet communication skills are rarely, if ever, taught as part of our schooling or higher education. The good news is that they can be learnt and the fact that you are reading this suggests that you could be ready to learn and develop them to become more successful, resourceful and influential.

- Applying the OSCAR Model of Communication – a step-by-step guide to achieving communication goals

- Learning a set of skills, tools and techniques to become better communicators, including active listening, body language, questioning and rapport
- Creating a Personal Development Plan to address real life communication challenges and growth opportunities
