About Materials
LANGUAGES

We select our teaching materials very carefully because we understand that every student has a different style and different needs, e.g. some may be weaker in pronunciation or need more grammar practice. Besides, there is no perfect book. Therefore, we carefully select textbooks with successful international recognition then we tailor our own additional materials to fit each student’s needs and level of advancement. All our materials aim to stimulate students’ interest and facilitate their learning.

Textbooks

Most of the textbooks we select have the following common features:
Cover all aspects of learning: reading, listening, speaking, writing and grammar
Usually supplemented with a workbook for exercises
Supplemented with Audio (CD/Tapes) materials

Homework

It is easy to make excuses when learning a new language such as too much work, business trips, sickness etc. but in order to remember skills learnt in classes we try to keep our students on track with extra homework assignments. These include:
Preparatory work in advance of each lesson
Homework exercises on grammar, writing, reading, new vocabulary usage, etc
Self-work which, of course, is encouraged, if students can spend more time in reviewing and practicing what they are taught.

Tests

Beside the above, we conduct regular tests to review learners’ progress, understanding and ability of their language usage. This is a chance for them to review all they have learnt and apply it. Tests will be both oral and written.
